Still Indulging.

Oh, I forgot to say, this,on the picture is an icelandic horse. There are quite a few in that area, my sister has two and had them sent from our farm some years ago. I have been on big horses too in the old, old days, but as there are only icelandic horses in Iceland that is my horse of no choice.
I talked to Monika on the phone tonight and she has a wonderful time in Germany with her sister.

So, I am back home. It is always nice to come home again and now it is eastern sunday and I wish you all HAPPY EASTERN. It feels like I had been gone for a long time but here everything looks the same, a dust of snow and blue krokusses in my garden.
I had a very nice flight, from Osta/Volda one hour to Oslo where I had time to smoke a cigarette and buy some and then two and a half hour to Iceland where I slept most of the time in an quite empty airplane and three seats to stretch out and lay down. At home my husband had really cleaned, a sparkling kitchen and no strewn around newspapers. Margret came with her boys and we had waffeln with jam and cream.
Proudly I like to show you two more pictures from me and my holidays:

THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS. What I wanted to say in my post and I see I must say it clearer, is how the understanding of the world changes within a life: First I was just frustated and forgot it. Then I stumbeled across it again when I was grown up. And then I started working with this experiment: Understanding what happened at a grown up level, then changing the memories and pasting the bad and good ones together. But, yes, I was qiute lonely as a child. What really did save me was my horse, a best firend, an excellent listener and I spend days and days with him, grooming, walking, riding.
But for now I am in Norway, in Volda, north of Bergen and have a nice holidayweek with my sister and her family. We are very busy, going for long walks, redecorating the room of her daughter like cleaning, painting the walls, rearranging and producing hand painted pillows.
AND last not least: here is a functioning internet connection as a new plug and new cable at home did not really solve our problem.

You want to see me in Norway? Here you are

I am ten years old. I am on a playground in Iceland, sitting on a swing. I talk poor icelandic. Children come, ask me:”What is your name?” I say my name, they ask me again and again. In deep frustation I go home.

I am 45 years old. I am bringing my son to the kindergarden. Children come running, hanging on the fence and call:”What is your name?” I start crying and can´t stop it.

I am 50 years old. I understand why the children were never satisfied with my answer. My name was no name to them. Had my name been Anna or Elin they would have been satisfied and we could have played together. Probably they thought I was saying some word in a foreign language. “Sabine”, nothing to connect with.

I am 58 years old. The memories get scrambeld. Was it that time Elli asked me to come home with her and showed me her fascinating collection of paper napkins? Since then I collect them too and still do.

Yes, I am connected to the world once again. A new cable, a new telephon connection and here I am. What I need now is some added hour to my days.
